In 2012 the world is supposed to end and we may or may not all die out. We' ll I don't think that will happen. In 2000 computers were supposed to stop working because they only went up to 1999. Then everyone would die. ? What do you think
The problem is that from that mistake it became a "trend" in some circles of "eccentrics" who started ceremonials about that and everything else a bored richman can come up with.. (in any case it always has to do with cool medieval robes and candles!)
Well, after that, it's easy to imagine how the "truth" spread..
the world will end... at approximatitly... the year 2000000000! Because that the mantle will cool causing all the moisture to leave Earth due to no gravitational force. My mom told me this!
Our sun is getting more and more fierce as days pass. Eventually, the sun will be so powerful that the earths moisture and water supply will evaporate, causing flash forest fires and drought. Either that or we'll suffer an Armeggedon (Bruce Willis movie) type scenario. If any hair brained idea of a complete world destruction truly exists, then it's either a massive asteroid or else something along the lines of Knowing (Cage movie), where a super solar flare burns through our planet.... I think about this kind of stuff way too much... illuminati anyone?
i wish i could speak to a mayan about this... but their are none around today. did they predict that they wouldn't be around to see the "end of the world"
another reason we arent neer the end, people (not mayans this time) said the same thing about the year 2000.
well I honestly don't believe that it will end at that time, based on something that an ancient civilization predicted. If its a matter of religion then I don't believe we are meant to know when the world is to end until it has already begun. Though this whole 2012 thing makes for a nice movie though.
