I really enjoyed the Shawshank Redemption and Apocalypse Now they are both great films. There is are far too many to choose from but I think those two are near the top.
Agreed! I love Shawshank Redemption, i've never seen Apocalypse Now, but i assure you i'll be watching it sometime soon. Also, i loooooved Transformers 2, i thought it was amazing, and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time, comedy, romance, drama and action.. everything a great movie needs!
According to IMDB, Citizen Kane is the best movie of all time,
it was an old post, but it's not and i don't think ever was on imdb. but it is the best movie according to AFI. but the Shawshank Redemption was super amazing. also Vertigo was amazing.
What do people have against transformers 2? Personally, I loved it.
With Transformers you have to rate it as two different movies. One as a movie movie, which has a good plot, good characters, and good acting. Next down on the list is a summer movie, in which you don't have to think much, but there's just big explosions.
