Once upon a time the users on AG was able to use the searchbar on the top for the page to search for threads and users. Unfortunately this made the entire site lag, and was very glitchy, and the staff decided to take it down.
Then a brave user named DDX concluded that the users of AG could still have a forum search, but it would have to rely on a different site, called Google. So he made that search function, and the admins found it to be so good that they stickied it so the users could always find it, if they needed to search the community ever again. The end.
