It's a pretty awesome show. If really has a lot to do with history'[s way of combat and how one civilization does against the other. Overall the most intelligent civilization would win.
It was on Spike for me. William Wallace was hardcore. Shaka Zulu didn't stand a chance. And the shouline munk episode was sweet. But it isn't very accurate, even with the computer technology that they use.
I ONLY watch it for the battle scenes, everything else about the show is crap. I mean really, You put a knight vs a pirate with a grenade and a gun :\\
I also don't think they put the battlefield into the equation. I mean how can you put a gladiator in the woods vs an apache. They should rematch that and put them in an arena.
i know, ninja would so beat a spartan! when in the dramatization the ninja threw the egg full of sharded glass and all the spartan did was blink three times!
The worst one to me was the Russian Special force vs the Green Berets.
The dramatization was crap. The squads had no coordination, they both were just a squad of rambos. Also, it was funny how the Green Berets killed almost the entire squad of Russians, and then the final Russian killed all of the Green Berets.
