have you guys heard about this? It's a new PSP!!!!

Sadly from what i can tell it is mostly fail.

Basically the plus side is that it is much smaller, lighter. It has a new slide up screen, and the buttons underneath, makeing it smaller.

How ever, the screen is now annoying small, and there is no UMD drive!!! That's right, no more UMD's. Instead the system will sport a 16Gb hard-drive, and for extra storage will need a memory stick micro.

Has has realesed that it includes:

Approx. 128 x 16.5 x 69 mm (width x height x depth)
Weight: 5.6 ounces (including batter)
CPU: 333MHz

64MB memory
3.8-inch display (480 x 272 resolution)
Built-in stereo speakers and microphone
802.11b WiFi
Bluetooth 2.0+EDR
USB 2.0
Memory Stick Micro slot
Analog video out
16GB storage

All games and music will need to be gotten from the PSN (play station network)

I persoannly am looking forward to it's october first realese date, but melted into tears when i caught sight of the $250 dollar price tag.

Sony says they will be keeping the PSP-3000 on the market, so for those of you that have the PSP, you will still be able to get games.

I would say get a DSI instead. They have the same functionality for the most part, plus the DS systems have a wider variety of games.

And no, the PSP GO isn't really that "new" of information

Sounds like a waste of money, worse than a DSi.

You mean those wireless cards? They do give internet if you're in a place that doesn't have wifi.

For those of you mentioning the fact that not every one has the internet, THEN DON'T BUY ONE! They still have the psp-3000 on the market. (psp-1000 was the big black one, psp-2000-is the one in many colors, and the psp-3000 is basically a psp-2000, except that the "improvments" on it suck) So if you get one of those you can still buy consol games. If you buy a psp-go though, yo uwill be buying just a game, so it will be cheaper, no packaging, or any thing like that.

And each game is no more then 500mb so you can have alot of games on there, without having to carry around sevreal seperate UMD's.

It actually has flash memory, but same effect. The main problem is that now you'll have to download everything of the Playstation Store. I'm personally helping they announce a PSP Phone, but it probably won't happen.
