what do u think of hunting i think it it should be illegal because tome killing an animal is just like killing a human< you r still taking some thing life
Most of the people who hunt aren't doing it because they need food. They only eat the meat because If they didn't then their hunting would be illegal.
Grandma makes a bunch of the men little sandwiches for the cooler, and as the go out to hunt they drive by supermarkets and delis. That is most of the hunting community.
I believe only the people who live deep in the backwoods and aren't near things like that should be able to hunt.
Hunting is a lot of fun, in my opinion. Eating the game after the hunt is even better.
You feel bad for 10-15 minutes, knowing that you did infact take a life, but it wears off.
I mostly hunted ducks though. Generally fun, although sometimes they become a shredded pulp of uneatable flesh after the birdshot gets them. So much lead in it you'd die from it : /
First we have the rare kind who actually hunt because they need to eat. They eat the meat, and then use the rest of the animal for different purposes. I'm fine with them, since most of them don't live around any stores where they could get it all without directly taking lives.
Then there's the hunter who hunts for fun, but still eats the meat. Usually these kind live somewhere they could get food easily, but I'm still fine with it. As long as they don't go on a major killing spree, and just kill what they'll be able to eat.
Then there's the kind that I hate. The ones who hunt for fun, and just cut off the antlers of the deer to stick up on their wall. They think that having a big pair of antlers up will make them look tough, but it doesn't mean anything to kill an unarmed animal when you have guns and traps. Now, if the human didn't have anything more to fight with than the animal, then it might mean something.
I think that if there is no other food source than hunting is acceptable. I'm just baffled that some hunters can look an innocent deer in the eye and kill it. How do you do that?
In many cases of legal hunting. it can be beneficial to the animal. For instance deer, In many areas if deer weren't hunted they would become over populated and there environment would suffer for it. This is usually because we have removed or greatly reduced that animals natural predator because that predator was dangerous to us as well. So since that animal no longer has that predator to keep it's numbers in check we step in to take it's place.
Well there's a few different types of hunters. First we have the rare kind who actually hunt because they need to eat. They eat the meat, and then use the rest of the animal for different purposes. Totaly agree with green
As several people have already stated sometimes you need to hunt animals to maintain the enviorment. For example if there are deer that eat the grass then wolves that eat the deer if there are too many wolves than they will eat all the deer then both of them will die out because there is no food. But then again if there are too many deer and not enough wolves they will eat all the grass and they will both die out
Ya know, this very topic came up in my bio class today. My friend's brother had killed a rabbit, so he told his dad. The father made him skin the rabbit and prepare it for dinner so as not to have killed it without purpose.

I don't think there's a lot of hunters that kill some very young rabbits...or they're monsters...
Anyway, I don't see the point of the hunt, I really don't understand what benefit you can take from it (apart from food), and I don't see how gratifying ti could be, fro the animal doesn't have any chance, but I won't go protest against it, and I won't insult a hunter if I see one... I just don't care.
