Give Veradux equipment that will give him high Instinct boosts, Like the Snow ZPI Set at Zone 2 or the Medic Set from the boss there. If your on Zone 5 the Caretaker Set works good too, the electrical set at Zone 4 works wonders as well. If you want Roald to do any damage, give him the Riot Police Set and Emerald Death.

Veradaux actually needs a vitality gear so he can survive longer and continue to heal you.

For roald, it's pure strength.
