Im taking chinese, advanced alg 2/trig, honors english, and a lot more stuff - as a freshman
In my school, we don't have this honors, advanced alg trig whatever stuff. Here's my schedule. (we run on the semester system though so half of the classes one semester, and other half in second semester).
Concert Band 10 Jazz Band 10 Spanish 10 Sciences 10 (in french, I'm french immersion :P a french second language program I have been in since Kindergarten) Sciences Humaines 10 (aka: Socials 10) English 10 (would be enriched but band students can't take this due to scheduling issues) Education Physique 10 (aka P.E. 10) Francais Langue 10 (aka French Language 10) Principles of Math 12.
Gah...sophomore year is going to suck so hard. I have like, no classes with my friends. Here's the classes I'm taking.
P.E.: Had to. P.E. coach is like some sort of possessed dude determined to run us so hard we have a heart attack English: Had to also. Lady who's teaching this class is insanely strict. One of my classmates sneezed during one of her lectures and she sent him to the office =0. He didn't get any actual punishment, but still...I gotta be on my toes around her. Math: Once again, had no choice. Math teacher's pretty cool though. On the first day back she gave us popsicles, so she's cool. Not too strict, but you should see her when she gets angry =(. Biology. Ugh. Just...ugh. The teacher is an idiot. She's just plain mean. Geography. This teacher's pretty cool. He gave us candy on the first day. Plus, he didn't give us any homework the first week. Although he said we would get some starting Monday. Algebra. Dad made me sign up for this one. I get headaches just thinking about the homework. The teacher's pretty nice, but she gave us hours worth of homework. On the first day, no less! Calculus. That's right, my dad made me take this one too. The teacher here isn't so bad, he's pretty cool. He lets us slide a lot, but he can really talk your ears off during a lecture...ugh... Trigonometry. I know. My dad made me sign up for this one, and I hate it. I get headaches just from thinking about it. Who cares if the angle is hypotenuse, or if it's a flippin right triangle?? Sigh... Art. Chose this one myself. I can tell I will fail at it because I suck at art, but I want to try. Latin: Latin teacher is like, totally awesome! He didn't give us any homework, gave us candy, and let us play games. Of course, the games were completely in latin(this is year two latin)but still very fun. Choir: Of course I had to take this one. I want to hone my singing skills. Wish I didn't though. The teacher just makes you really sleepy when she talks, but her singing voice is just beautiful! Really makes us sound like wounded howler monkeys in comparison. Anyways, this school year is really going to be a drag...
THREE math classes?? What are you in high school or college... That's just insane! You're a freaking sophomore, you don't need to be taking Calc AND trig!
Math, Algebra, Calculus and Trig? That has to suck.
Anyway, I don't start school until September 2nd, but I hate the end of summer. Always so depressing. The first month of school is fine, but after that it's all downhill until the last week.
