Besides unbearable heat summer is also a period of increased insects activity. I live in the suburbs and they are everywhere, I can't even sit in the backyard without them crawling around me. I can't stand them. Does anyone else share this irrational fear?



On top of that a freaking wasp bit me this morning in the neck! So painful!

I'm not really afraid of insects. They are just really annoying and I wish they didn't exist.

For every human...there are approximitely 1.5 billion insects.

They don't scare me but I hate them. I hate how they crawl on me when I'm sitting in the grass...


Misquitos and flys are annoying.

I'm just scared by roaches. I mean yeah...I do play with the nypmhs...but somehow I fear the adult form...irrational...I mean a newspaper can solve it all, but yeah....Oh and watching Mimic just freaked me out.


I can agree with you. The adults look like aliens. Scary.

The only beneficial insect I can think of right now is the bee. Bees pollinate many plants.

Bees are horrible. And they kill people.

What about Spiders? The help keep bugs and insects out of Gardens, and they can ven make a cool pet.

Without the pollination of plants (thanks to bees), we'd be on a road to destruction. No food. Though we'd survive.

Spiders are beneficial in several ways but bees provide more benefit.

Every insect does. The cons of bee's outweigh it's cons. here is a list of plants pollinated by bees.

And I guess I will agree with you. But three fourths of those plants we don't need for survival.

But I like meat. And I hate bread for some reason. But I really really like meat. So I gues it isn't much of a problem. Lol

Meat's great.

Anyway, we'll be eating much more than bread and meat. We'll have vegetables still. There will be less enjoyment to eating though (not for some people).

Well this morning there was a huge beatle in my back yard.(lifesize packaged)
When I killed it lots of guts spewed out. It was gross but i have a really strong stomach so I dont throw up often.(Life lesson #2024 Dont talk about Fight Club)

Bettle. Fixed!

I found a gross bettle, it looks like a worm but the size is around my thumb, yuck!

No read what I said and think outside the box. Beatle. Just think about that. My favorite insect would be the butterfly although I would still kill it they dont bother me much.
