I was wondering why is the multiplayer in Call of Duty 4 all one shot one kill basically? My friend something about "hardcore" or something like that and I wasn't sure what he meant. Can anyone tell what he meant?
Hardcore is for the people who would rather be able to get easier kills because you have no radar and it is easier to kill (depending on gun) but everything else that does not say hardcore in front of it is normal and it a little harder to kill people (also depending how strong the weapon is) but in return you get always radar and can see everything on the screen
hardcore is harder in some ways ( you get less time to react and no time at all when they shoot you in the back) but easier in some ( you can pretty much just sit in one good camping spot and defend that for ages. hardcore is also good for trying out some of the other guns ( such as the m21 sniper) wich are usually a bit too weak to compete with the other guns in its type
Noob free zone? Really? I've met my fairshare of people who aren't good at the game on there. And just because they're not as good as you and make stupid moves on their part doesn't mean they're a "noob".
If you think that only good people play hardcore. I know some people who play only Core SnD and TD that will make you and your friends look like "noobs" at HC.
The ONLY differences between hardcore and core is there's limited radar, miniscule health with no health regeneration, and team kill is enabled. Nothing to do with skill.
