I made this topic because people in the "Hitler vs Lenin" topic said they would have preferred this (Hitler vs Stalin).

So post what you think... I think Hitler was the better and smarter man.

Hitler and the Nazis (sounds like a band name from the early 60's) invented the Volkswagen. I vote for him because of that!

um, who is Stalin. I'm German, but not Nazi. I guess i vote for hitler since he wouldn't have killed me because I have blond hair Blue eyes.

Hitler. Stalin wasn't really the kind of guy I'd want to get to know. Just a homicidal dictator with nothing else really going for him. And he killed almost more than Hitler. Maybe more. Pretty close. Just over a longer period and much slower. As in more painful slower.

If we're talking mustaches, Stalin wins XD

Stalin.

He improved Russia so much and made it the world power it is today.
While Hitler he didn't do much for Germany..

i would say that this is something.

and if i would have to vote it is a draw between the two guys. both did more evil than anything else, so the world would be better off if both wouldnt ever exist

Stalin is better. He made crimes, but Hitler and his forces committed numerous atrocities during the war, including the systematic killing of as many as 17 million civilians.
Stalin was a better leader and he save Russia economy, Hitler tried but he failed.

With Stalin it depends on where your from and with Hitler it depends on what you look like... I'd have to agree with Parsat to a degree.

do not agree.
the nazi regime discriminated and or killed people according to their race(so its a where you from), they had several ideas how eg jews look like so that they can identify them easily.
they also had the idea, that a perfect arian(the master race in hitlers eyes) is tall blonde and has blue eyes(worked great for him).

stalin did judge people upon from which class they came.
and whether or not you are an enemy of the working class or not.

of course both made exceptions from their general rules and persecuted groups for other reasons.

as stated before. both lose

You kind of didn't understand...


To the east of Moscow it looked as if Russia was in the middle ages. The people were severely politcally oppressed. However in Moscow, Leningrad, and Stalin Grad, the nation was an industrial superpower. People lived decent lives in Moscow if they behaved the way the government wanted them to.

In Germany, it was just if you're a Jew or not. Opression

hitler, he kept britain on its toes during world war2. meanwhile india gained independence from it.
