I think, with the rather vague OP you have, you should have realized people would be offtopic and spamming like crazy. They have nothing to contribute with, but yet will not refrain from posting, because of various things. Therefor they find rather random (your title is begging for it) info, or make something up.

I am simply coming up with an explanation, and suggest you stop yelling at them for being silly, because that is how most people act, I guess. This is actually a somewhat common behaviour in the Art section, even though it should not be.
If you wish to stop the behavior/odd answers, you might need to make a more clear OP, yes, but that is entirely up to you.

I think he wanted to make a thread about odd facts about AG (or often the users) that would be fun to show. Something really funny or odd, nothing like "I have - posts" (unless it is "I have 1234 posts now!" or "I am user number -!!", but rather... Yeah, the one I used earlier in this thread: "I have a comment to post count ratio of 1:6" or something similar.
