Mine is 9.5 Mens in US, and 42.5 EU.

English Standard System, is it?


The United States customary system of units of measurement also known as the English System, Imperial System, and American System. The Imperial System was used officially in the United Kingdom until 1995.

The International System of Units (or "Système International d'Unités" in French, abbreviated "SI&quotis the internationally recognized standard metric system since the 1960's on. The metric system and the SI system are slightly different I guess.
(I got this from Wikipedia.)

So technically the American system comes from the British Empire but I prefer the SI system, way easier (especially when doing chemistry and physics).

Size 11 US, 45 EU.

mine's about a good 6.5 inches, But you know, they say the width plays an important part too.

Yeah, totally. Length only means you have to buy bigger sizes. Width lets you do much more with what you're got.
