It's like riding a bike. To people who know how to do it, you look stupid for asking, making you have to learn for yourself.
How is one to learn if they don't ask?
I suppose using your analogy a kid must look pretty stupid to you asking for help when learning how to ride a bike.
We all have to start somewhere and why not start with the people who already know what there doing and can give you pointers to help you avoid the mistakes they made along the way?

Flash Is Kinda Hard, And I've Used It For Over 4 Years Now, But I Haven't Been Able To Learn So Much. I've Learned Most Of It By Myself, And When I Got To Know About The ActionScript (Programming Codes), I Copied From Other Flases From Flashkit.com And Pasted It! But Now, I Can Use It By Myself, But Still I Suck On Making Games, Because I Haven't Been Able To Learn So Much Of It. I Try To Look For Flash Tutorials All Over The Internet, But I Haven't Been Able To Found Much. And When I Say Tutorials, I Mean Explaining A Code, And How To Use It!
