anyway im an amature guitar player (ive been playing for about a year) i love to play rock and alternative styles, not the heavy, screamo rock that has become so unfortunately popular (sniff)(jk if u like that style im not bashing u, i just dont like it myself) i own an epiphone les paul and rock out on a peavey vyper 30-watt amp
I'm getting one (hopefully) for my birthday to start with. I never really got into it. I know a bit of it from one of my friends, but nothing substantial.
Lol sure I like guitar. I like it because it makes me feel good when I can play a song. Also, it takes a lot of practice and determination to learn how to play guitar well. I think learning the theory behind it and how to transcribe songs makes me a more well-rounded individual.
I like the guitar...bass guitar that is. I play both electric and acoustic bass, an I've been playing for around two years now. I play everything from Classic music all the way to death metal.

Well, I play guitar for myself, I actually teach guitar, but free of charge, I play classic and jazz, I can't play pop songs, I can't sing.
I play guitar in 4 in the morning, open my window and feel the wind blow, I like sunrise, in China the sun is so beautiful and reddish, not like in Indonesia.
Playing guitar makes me calm and gives me inspiration and yes, passion.
My favorite player, definitely, Sungha Jung, young prodigy and a living legend on youtube and youku. also my legendary teacher (in Indonesia he has 15.000 students and 1000 music schools here and abroad), Rene Nessa Sahir, Rene s. Sahir on youtube, a French-Indonesian, now lives in NY, US.

guitar is the best instrument ever invented. I own a gibson les paul which is totally overrated for the price i paid for it.. but i also have an ibanez. its half the price but the quality is just as good. I have been playing since i was in 5th grade and i have played in concerts with many different bandds over the years. I am in a band right now and we are working on a record deal so u better buy my music. BAND NAME: UNKNOWN YET haha we are still working on a good band name since we change it every gig we do.. haha but yeah anyways guitar is a great instrument. simple yet complex. and u can do many different styles of music with this one instrument
