To me Classics are harder to beat. I found myself playing the original Megaman for the gameboy for an hour. I couldn't get past the first level. But when it comes to Campaign mode on 360 games? Psh, breeze right through.

I do love newer games, but my all time favorite game is Dragon Warrior Monsters for the GBC. I love DWM and almost every Dragon Quest game before hand.

Classic games such as Call of Duty Finest Hour are amazing I dont really focus on the graphics much just the gameplay it self.

I don't know if anyone else have noticed this, but games become more easier and easier. From the beginning, there were only very hard games. Now, most of them are easy!

For example, take the Super Mario World. It was reaaaallly hard. But now, New Super Mario Bros is really easy! Easy peasy!

I agree, though I would have used Contra as a better example for really hard games. I remember beating that as a kid, and I can guarantee you no kid today would take the time to sit through a game that unrelenting.

But there are some games that have kept up with the challenge of the older games. Honestly the only ones that come to mind are Contra 4 (claimed to be the hardest Contra), and Mega Man 9 (can be a little difficult).

It is? Since when, I found that game seriously easy. Ocarina of Time was difficult, especially when you didn't know you couldn't open every single door in the water temple on your first time playing.

Games are getting better but only because the power of the system lets them get better not that classic games are bad but they cant do as much

That depends.... which games are you talking about?

Super Paper Mario is a new game with classic graphics. The characters and scenery is flat, but you can "flip" and make it 3-D like todays games.

So that depends.....

It's an impossible generalization to make. You must base each game off their individual merits. I like my classics, but at the same time there are constantly new games that impress me.

Love classic games. Besides, new games take ideas from classic games. But I like newer sports games better, because they are more realistic, they are current players, and the graphics are amazing.
