freedom of speech is first and for most, they now have zones where people can voice there opinions, only in those zones otherwise you are arrested(unless your opinion is the same as the working government).
The only time I've seen that done is at the national conventions, where the protests are so huge that they HAVE to have designated zones to protest, otherwise things grow out of control.

These have always existed. They are used in very extreme circumstances. Like during a soldier's funeral, the government stops the Westboro Baptist Church members from going to the funeral and saying things like "Thank God for dead soldiers." These links below are the laws passed to limit their speech. I totally believe in that limitation.

Are you saying that comparing Bush's first six or seven months to Obama's that Obama did better simply because he was in a crisis? If you're saying Obama is doing better than Bush's eight years, wait for Obama's term to end before you compare presidents. Like you said, nothing he's done has had time to take much effect. We're asking if the things Obama's done to try to fix the economy were well-thought out and beneficary to the nation in the long run. Even if he hasn't done much, judge what he has done and what he wants to do.

There have always been limits to free speech. It's not Obama who started these free speech zones. In fact, it was Bush who first used these zones to a massive extent. (link below)

Because "truthers" (9/11 conspiracy theorists) and "birthers" (those who question Obama's birth certificate) are seen by most as unintelligent extremists. If they were allowed out of these zones, they would disrupt the media (which they have). That would be a violation of the mass media's freedom of speech.
