LOL we have really old cousins. do you think it's kinda weird to call a 50 year or whatever your cousin?

lol, I know what you mean it is kind of weird .... but you know what is even weirder, my great great great gandparents were brother and sister and didn't even know it :/

Well in-laws are typically not blood related, where as cousins of any type are....I think...I only find it weird when your 2nd cousin is also your grandpa or something like that.

In my Indian culture your parents cousins are still your uncle or aunty, It's better that way I think.

I would just call them uncle or aunt, it's a better fitting name. Even if it's not technically correct.

I agree, calling somebody the same ago or even older than my parents my cousin, it would just seem strange.

yeah that is weird, I would feel strange calling them "cousins", but aunt or uncle sounds better.

Its not always the case some people call them aunty or uncle but its usually your own cousin's children that are your second cousin's. I'm not sure so dont quote me on it!!

I don't find it weird. I'd find it weird if there was a disgusting amount of inbreeding.

I'd rather refer to them as my uncle and aunt though.
