okay, you've probably had comments deleted then, the mods are cleaning out spam from the games at the moment so if you've left spam comments, they're as good as gone. That means you're losing the points those have given you. If you don't want to lose points, I'd suggest writing comments useful to the creator, also increasing your chances for Merit.
another explanation besides the mod's Spring Cleaning, is profile comments. When you comment on a profile the owner has the right to delete them, therefore, you lose the points they were worth.
