It happens every once in a while, Just refresh the page and type in your original comment. It's not such a big deal.

If you are worried about this happening, then copy your comment before pressing submit.

However, if it is just a short thing then don't worry. Although really, your are probably about to post a worthless spam comment anyway....

The times that I have thought of copying while I click submit, and have one of my essays of a thread or post be deleted right in front of me, after almost a half hour of work. I sometimes have to cry myself to sleep. Get in a habit of copying everything, even small posts. Cause you just never know. :'(

Or, you could use the add-on Lazarus: Form Recovery for Firefox.

Work's like a charm!

Klaushouse I understand you completely. But it's difficult to get that habit of copying, because after typing a big comment I click "submit" instinctively.
Also if you are using Mozilla and you refresh the page after your post has mysteriously disappeared, sometimes "resend" button appears. If you click it you'll have a double post, if you click "cancel" you won't post at all.

That would involve actual work other than apple+c(ctrl+c for pc) on my part which is not likely to happen. I have a cool program on my PC though that saves everything I paste and it's on my toolbar so I click it and it shows everything I have ever copied so I don't lose any of it.
