Is a habit not something done unintentionally? Sneaker-selectiveness is very intentional...

It's both opinion and just the effect of my selective weirdness.
Didn't say it was a habit, I was just listing my weirdness because most tend to be habits, though they aren't really, they're just strange things I do for some reason =(
i like to pull my leg so my foot can touch my head, and it doesn't hurt.
It's probably biting my finger nails and chewing my fingers...
I don't get how people can bite their nails O_O
Also @ Ernie15 Besides the fact that it's annoying you attempt to point everything 'wrong' out for unknown reasons...it's not just 'ickiness', anymore.
Habit An acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary: the habit of looking both ways before crossing the street.
Is looking both ways involuntarily then when you start? These things are voluntary at the start, but are now permanently part of the way I 'function'.
So you eat oatmeal, select sneakers, and do that volume thing without knowing?
I don't think you quite understand. We're not talking about reactions, reflexes, or lapses in 'time' where you are unaware of what you are doing, we're talking about habits.
Like I said, when you cross the street, you know you turn your head side to side, you do it automatically, but it's not necessarily involuntarily, it's just something you are used to, and would probably feel weird if you 'forgot' to do it. Habits aren't always involuntary, they're just things you do, maybe accidentally to begin with, and get used to doing, like routines, but not quite so strict =o
My habit is to pick my nose a lot...um, joking. So beside the finger chewing habits, if I'm eating while ready, I sometimes absentmindedly chew a fork, or spoon.
Umm I tear my fingernails a lot. I don't bite them but I kind of tear the nails with my other fingers. I tug my earlobe randomly a lot. I don't know why. I chew my pencil erasers a lot when I'm thinking and trying to write. I have ruined tons of perfectly good erasers that way Tapping my foot. I don't know why, maybe it's because my ankles are double jointed. I don't know why, either. I just tap the floor a lot and annoy people that way.
