Well, the last thread was before the movie was out. (or pushed way back) So, opinions on this one? Liked it? What was your favorite part? I have yet to see this, but it looks amazing!
Eh, it was pretty good I guess. The beginning and end parts are documentary style. In between is some action scenes. Don't want to spoil anything, but the something happens to the main character and he needs help from the aliens. Overall a 7.8/10
It was good - it was definitely done in a different style than most movies, and the writing and directing were great. However, there were some plot holes in it. . . .
I want to see it but we're not going to the regular movies anymore because it costs $60 almost every time >_> So I have to wait about a month or two before we can see it for free on the base [<<military familiy].
It kept me on the edge of my seat, production of the effects and the acting and directing were friggin' brilliant! 8.5/10, what with some small parts being fairly unsettling to watch. But hey, what's good cinema without intrigue?!
sadly the main character was an idiot half the time, but all in all i liked the movie

I think the second part of this will be called district 10(since they were moved there at the end), but my dad thinks its gonna be called district 9-2, any thoughts?
