Because in the boring mundane life people experience everyday fighting it is the only thing that changes, its entertaining to watch and it passes the time if you are participating.
lol the thread isn't "your's" it's the community's you just started it.
And to answer your question the reason there will always be wars and fighting is because of stubborn people leading country's. They don't want to negotiate they just want everything their way or they will fight for it.
Until people learn to be accepting, tolerant, and how to negotiate there will always be fighting.
Wars are simply the aggregate animal instincts of our primitive evolutionary history manifesting in a "civilized" manner. These days we fight for ideals and beliefs because that makes us feel less dirty about why we go around killing each other. It's survival of the fittest, just as brutal as ever, and I doubt it will change unless we take conscious control over our evolution as a race - something which I think can and should be in our grasp in the relatively near future.

Very well said, and I agree with just about everything. Everything except the last bit... some decisions will have to be made that everyone will be against, but which might be best in the long run. Unfortunately, these decisions would require some form of dictatorship, and even then might cause massive riots... So I don't see that part happening anytime soon.
