How could it possibly tough being a Christian, especially in the USA?
33% of the world is Christian. It would only be tough to be a Christian in an anti-Christian country, unless you think anything even harmlessly poking fun at Christianity is oppression or something.
Christianity oppressed? We (American, Europeans) many time treat in a bad way Muslims, some times extremist beat them and burn their homes. Islam is oppressed? No they aren't they oppress the citizens of their countries, socialists etc. No religion is oppressed now, cause religion is the oppressor.
If you mean tough with regards to other people, it isn't. If you mean on a more personal level, pondering the existence of God and whether you could be blindly following a book that will inevitably lead you to the same fate as everyone else... I've felt that now and then, but it's no biggie, and it's certainly not worth an entire thread.
Please clarrify the troubles you mean, because it isn't very clear.
