Painkiller on PC, I mean the story sucked ass. But the weapon ideas, areas you would have to go to, and just the fact that you could nail a guy's face to the wall with a freaking stake made it the best shooter I had ever played.

Resistance: Fall of Man would be a close second but I'm going with Half-Life 2.
