I only have mega bloks, but lego is fun, especially when I was around 10, and I would build things with friends, than create some sort of game. Ah, precious memories ~
Man I love Legos. I used to have bins and bins of random sets for about 8 or 9 years. Those things are amazing. Especially when they came out with the Technics and starting having motorized parts... incredible. I also was a huge fan of Knex.
I liked them as a little kid,and I still like them. My favorites are the soccer sets, those are cool. I like looking at Lego catalogs and seeing all the sets that are available. The pirate ship set and the basketball sets are also awesome. I also like the Police Station set.
Mere words could never describe my passion for small, plastic interlocking parts. That's why I'll use an emote: I <3 Legos! I probably have more than a million lego + megablocks + other imitators pieces.
This is probably on the end of being spam but...I just saw the episode on mythbusters where they made the Lego ball, and here's what I have to say :
The Myth of the Lego ball was done completely wrong in its creation. Instead of creating massive bricks, and then putting those together, they should have built the ball from the ground up, with pieces of varying size, along with switching from horizontal to vertical to horizontal with every new layer. By using large bricks, they created fault lines in the ball, which is why it split in half. If they had built it piece by piece, the Lego would have properly meshed together to prevent a problem like the one shown in the episod
