Well I don't hate them, but I think it's stupid that they're so popular. Disney in general disgusts me. The only good movies they made were Lion King and Finding Nemo.
Did you know that the real Pocahontas was 12 when the settlers came, and John Smith was in his late 40's? Also, there were no mountains, forests, waterfalls, etc around Jamestown. That movie is a complete lie, and they're giving so many kids a false environmental perception of Jamestown.
Not to mention, John Smith was a short guy with a curly red beard who no one liked. He was chained up on the ship because no one liked him. And the scene where the Indians were going to kill him, was really them adopting him into the tribe. The only accounts of what happened though were written by him, so of course he had to make himself sound like a hero.
