I spent a number of hours with this game. It's interesting, but there are several major problems with it. These problems are: 1. After you level up a few times, the enemies get VERY tough. There are no "easier" areas that you can go to to gain experience and mana to get the better weapons, armor, etc. 2. The game instructions are not well-written. I had to learn what to do by doing it, rather than being able to refer to a decent set of "how-to" instructions. 3. You can get stuck in a "loop" of sorts. For example, right now, 2 of my party members are dead. (Jack O'Lantern and Big Bad Wolf) and I've sold everything I can to get mana to bring them back. I have one live" party member which obviously isn't enough to do any fighting etc. so all I'm doing is walking around this huge map, escaping every battle, trying to find the Witch Cook to give me the ingredients for the cookie. If there were an area in which the enemies were weaker, I could at least attempt to gain points and mana...I haven't found one. I don't think I'll be wasting too much more time on this one.

OK, I sort of figured out what I had done wrong in the first game. As usual, I was in a hurry to "accomplish" things, and never took the time to level up first. I started a new game, levelled up, and now I'm at the same spot that I was before. The clue that the Witch gives is to look for a candy Store in Darktown and that she may sell someof what's needed to make the Hansel/Gretel cookie. Another person I'm supposed to find is the Witch Cook. I've looked everywhere in Darktown - no luck. Looked in Halloweentown, no luck. Does anyone know where the Witch Cook is, and basically what you have to do to get the ingredients for the cookie? I'm sure that the several "Sweets" shops must be visted as well as the Flour Mill, but I need to find the cook to get the ingredients.
