Favorite genre of music and why?

Mines country cause it generally has a nice flow and 90% of the songs are actual stories or they have great Inspirational meanings

I kinda like elictronica/house/techno kinda stuff. I also listen to a little classic rock and sometimes alternative.

No.

Metal often has the concept album, where the whole album tells a story of the adventured of a character. Iced Earth and Mastodon have done it.

Pop usually has dumb stories =P but there are stories nonetheless, 99% about love.

hip hop and rap, although lame, have LOADS of concept albums.

and greenday is the well known concept album w h o r e (i dont know if that censors or not xD)

I like a lot of classic rock and metal. I also like blues and alternative. The blues, although old, are all written by musical geniuses. For metal, the stories behind the songs are pretty emotional. All 4 genres are fun to listen y
to overall

I hate typing things on my iPod :P hopefully my computer will be fixed tomorrow...

and rolls? I like variety. My favorite is rock,but I also like a good mix of rock and pop.I was listening to the radio one day,and the songs were by,in orderire Straits,Eagles,Jimi Hendrix,Prince. To me,that is a good mixture. I also don't mind rap,as long as it's a well thought out and original.

I generally like classic heavy metal, some thrash metal, and rock (all variants). Not much more else than that/

I have never been able to pick out those types of albums in metal. Other than Iron Maidens entire line of albums >>.>>

But then again, I don't really listen to metal as much as I ought to. I'm to stuck with four or five bands.

I think I like Alternative Rock since it isn't always really loud but its not soft, and most songs have a really good beat to it.

lol jk I like country too idk why so many people hate it >.< however my favorite genre is hard rock and metal such as led zeppelin, iron maiden, ac/dc, metallica (sometimes), and other stuff.

I also love John Lennon.... and the beatles

Scream and Metal-core, the music generally tell stories, and also the albums are one great story.. so its cool.
