ahhh we were all so young back then
when snipers shot longer and the skys were the limits when it came to making builds

gaming was simple in those days, no complex monarchy, influence wasn't so important, war sancs didt even exist.

It was just double post builds and you were called a noob if you didnt at least make 3 armories.

Well Colony v2.0 introduced the War Sanctum, Far Sniper, and A27-Pride.

I want to see some more dual builds again. But its impossible in todays metagame.

yeah it was alot funner back when nobody really knew what to do, where everyone was at the same level and no one had a real advantage against one another.

I dunno if itll happen or if ill be around to play it but im saying colony has run its course, too much of the game has been figured out.

Im all for supporting a colony 2.0 but it has to be drastically different so that everyone starts anew and making mistakes is alright.

i mean the colony community is completely abhorrent, its seriously one of the worst gaming environments ive ever been in. So little respect with one another.

and i support a completely new colony 2.0 over updates only under the fact that updates unbalance the game. if you think about it if you have a balanced game, and you keep adding options to it, your tipping the balances over and over.

IMO the updates leading to 3.4 was perfection. the game was pretty complex at that point (althought it was maxed out and already figured out) but the game was balanced. Like there wasn't a cheesy build you could go with and not be able to counter if you thought hard enough about it.

But updates after 3.4 were cool and interesting but i thought was just tugging the game in strange directions.

hmmmm i see wat u mean derp, but i think colony hasnt run its course infact the updates have continued to add more dimension to this little world of ours. However u r right about the players as demonstrated by deadkrin there is nearly NO respect or pride within the newer generation. But honestly the only way i see this game improving is if there some global conquest mode or simply put each region/government had their own unique builds/upgrades/location so there could be a seige mode or something.

Only a handfull of players have good manners when it comes to the Colony community. It's due to the exploitable bugs.

Run ur own gov city army and nation, but that would mean turning it to a full on MMORPG, and colony was inspired by one lol, so i suppose that would complete the circle.
