TALK ABOUT ANYTHING RELATED TO COLONY (and beef burgers)
I know you're very busy but we discussed you creating a Colony 2 sometime in the future, I was wondering if you had any idea when you might have time for that, in recent weeks Colony has gained a lot of attention and if you could give them something official I'm sure the crowd would just go wild :P if not I understand but as they say you can always hope.
(Krin): I can only do that when Sinjid has been finished I will make an announcement when I am about to start production, because I want to know if people prefer real-time, or they want a turn based option as well, since that will be easier to make hack-proof and competitive.
(Me): I'm very glad to hear you speak of a new Colony as a non theoretical game, this just made my week, thank you very much! Do you think you'll be working on a new Colony after sinjid? Or did you have other games to produce before that in mind?
(Krin): 'm not sure! I really want to work on Colony, but I also want to work on other things, I keep changing my mind everyday. I guess it all depends on what I feel like doing at the precise moment I finish Sinjid and am about to start a new project
Most likely Colony 2, because I like to rotate RPG and RTS production. I may do a mini-game (iPhone game) in between, it's good practice and they are short and fun to make
That does make it seem quite promising indeed. It is good that he is taking his time with things in oppose to rushing to get everything done as this makes the games being produced a lot better and that means happier gamers which means happier developers which means happy people all around.
I meant confirmed that it is under consideration, lol. I like to be an optimist but not too much so that I end up getting let down over trivial things. So, it's all groovy.

I think people playing on computer would have a much greater advantage than the people on hand held devices to be hones so not too sure wether or not it would be a good thing.

I think you should read my whole post, I never said Krin would make a Colony for the iPhone I didn't even mention the possibility, that doesn't mean he wont it means he didn't mention it to me personally, sorry if I got your hopes up :P
