So, since my last competition was pretty much a discussion, I'll now close that and move over to this general colony discussion (the others are all specific)

No, you're wrong. That only determines how good someone is at 1v1 on normal. 1v1 just shows how good you are with managing both bases simultaneously. Also, to determine someone's skill, there has to b a common denominator to judge against. There isn't one. Therefore, we can't measure the skill of someone, because we have no empirical benchmark. for example, I can't do 1v1 at all, but I'm very good at 2v2 and pretty good at 2v1 (where I'm the 1.)
All you need though are two armories, an arsenal, and a manufactory.
1v1 tests how well a player can support an army on their own. 2v2 is more complicated, because there's lots of teamwork and such, lots more strategies open, etc.
The Saint and A-27 pride are gonna be shweet. I'm kinda iffy about the farsniper though.

Yup, I will attempt to fix hacks in that update as well. Just give me a while, working on it as fast as I can Here will be the new units/buildings for the next patch:
* War Sanctum: Tier-3 Hospital. Builds the 'Saint.'
* Farsniper: Really long range ground sniper. Siege threat.
* Saint: Air drone with Air-to-Air Positron cannons (Same as the Hover Tank). Against ground, it has rapid firing positron bullets.
* A27-Pride: Slightly more durable than the Roman, and has rapid firing long range pulse rifles with splash damage. Effective as support fire against grouped up enemy units.
These units still need some balancing but we'll get to that. You can now also 'generate' influence from the Special Ops Center, and most influence units will have their costs reduced.

Anyway I made one.
Titan: Wheeled bot with two chronite machine guns. A little faster than groditz. Can shoot at ground and air. Every 10 seconds shoots a giant chronite bullet at ground and air. Has a huge splash!
Yeah, but...true...hmm, it seems that the farsniper is only for antisniper, because hit+run tactics can just bring the exact same effect (number of shots fired before they can) as a farsniper, which is their end of the field to yours.
Saint+pride seem a liiitle too dangerous en masse...
