Yep. They won't die if they are at the middle of the battlefield. Right?

Phantoms and MK II's are all you really need from a forge, glads are nice, but hovers own them to quickly.


But hovers will own the sakatas quickly and sakatas will destroy the phantoms.

No meds dudeguy? Don't underestimate the greatness of a meditec. Also, I hope you partner covers the outpost spectrum very well, because an attacking force of outpost/forge will kill you.

Jerry, I didn't mean those are the only units you need overall, only from what you get from the forge.

Yea. A forge is air and a outpost is ground. Marines can own air while air beats the hover tanks.

Lol. Obviously. Firetail, i have a question for ya. What do you think is a really effective defence and why? (not the one i said though :P)


A few gladiators and a million meds.

medics are vital if you play outpost on 1vs1. but there not so helpful when it comes to 2vs2 unless you use 100 influence to build 10 medics then build a couple more. with that much youll kill alot if you know to micro well.

since i dont know the exact rules for dog fight, you would probably get owned by any sort of rush before you could build a big enough army.

Not true, i always build medics in 2 vs 2 fights. Because of the unstoppable defence medics are what makes the defence "unstoppable"

Double quote response. That is why i like to go outpost and forge. I go outpost early game and i get both of them late game. I like this because i can counter every unit without having to relying on my allie, which most people tend to do.

Yeah, if your opponent suks, but in a more even battle, you need to take the time to make a queen or 2 (remember that one match firetail?), also, if you can escort a phantom it will help alot in taking down there base.

until i charge you kill the medics then fall back and attack you units

Actually, I've had 1 dogfight where everyone made scouts for like 10 minutes. I was the only one making black queens while making scouts. After that 10 minutes we kept building but the game got laggy. Took 3x longer to scroll the screen to the other side. After a few minutes we attacked. We won that fight because of my blackqueens.
