A Haiku is a Japanese lyric verse form having three unrhymed lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally invoking an aspect of nature or the seasons.
Well, that said, heres the rules:
1) The Haiku must be original (no plagarizing)! 2) It must fit the weeks theme 3) It must be submitted before the deadline 4) It must be submitted for the contest (no using works previously written) 5) One Submission per user 6) The Same User cannot win twice in a row (but there welcome to submit!)
Hopefully oneday the winner could get a merit...
The Deadline will always be a Wednsday, so the deadline for the first theme will be Wednsday, September 2. The theme is The Pond
Appl3stars is my older sister. We dug up this account for her to make a dumb haiku. Honestly, it sucked. You guys obviously can't a joke so I won't do it again. And yes, it will be fair judging this round.
Won't get it done tonight, no chance. Maybe tomorrow? I don't know.
Okay guys, since I'm running low on time for this round, I'll do the judging the way Mav did it when he started getting lazy. No comment in this post unless you want one. Go to my profile for that.
Note: This kind of judging is for this round only because I've been extremely busy. The next judgings will be normal.
And guys, you HAVE to make a real haiku! Some people I see are doing 7-7-7's, 8-5-3's, derp-herp-derp's. If you want it to count, it has to be a 5-7-5! Come on! Get your head in the game!
14 submissions, with the disqualified ones included.
