You know, I think the people who seek the services of robot sex are probably individuals who would normally seek the services of a human hooker. In light of this fact, if there was some way to prevent people from getting STDs from these robots then I'm all for it. Of course, for those of us who find even the idea of prostitution repugnant, and enjoy the nuance of the chase in attempting to copulate with whoever we may want to copulate with, the robot sex thing is crap. Great for other people who want it, doesn't seem wrong in any way, just not for me.
once robots get better it would only be a matter of time till someone has the "erfect fembot"... cooking, cleaning, sex, etc... and she would do it all without complaint, because she wouldn't be programmed to complain.
Awesome, we figured out how to make robots, and look at what we're using the technology for. Humans never cease to amaze me. And we always wonder why ETs don't drop by and say hello... with all our hotdog stands and shoes that light up. I don't see why aliens wouldn't want to meet us, huh?

flaw 1:who wants to do it with a metalic thing,so it gotta be coated with some soft material
flaw2:you dont want an electric shock when doing that,so at least the thing gotta have an electrical insulator
flaw3:we can make super realistic pictures with computers,in fact,the first photorealistic,computer-generated actress to star in a movie(not wilma from scooby-doo,aki ross from final fantasy,the movie script sucks anyway) was so realistic,you wont guess it was fake until the last minute,but can we make something 3d almost as beautiful?yet show no hint of robotics,cos doing it with some human shaped transformer is wierd
flaw4:who wants to do things with cold metal/ plastic/ silicone/ whatever?and how are you gonna heat it up,start a bonfire?
flaw5:even if all other flaws were solved,who would like to do things with them unless the government allows only robo-xxx?(all transformers,terminators and robotic organisms are excluded from the who)
flaw6:does that mean robots will give birth too,and what happens when our things "lubricate"these sophisticated machines?
