When i die i believe i will go to heaven. I dont get why so many people have a big problem with christianity. If u dont want to bellieve in something where do u want to end up after death??? I love to believe that when i die that i will bein paradise, just lights out!

Religion is one of those things that is so firmly planted into society, there's always going to be people opposing it. Then there's feuds between the religions. Basically people debate about it because we all think we're right, or at least have the most sensible opinion.
i just want to know the other side
The other side as in other religions, or the other side from non religious people? I'm agnostic, I really don't know what will happen after death, and I'm not going to pretend I know either. I'm just hoping we don't burn in eternal Hell, etc, like some people think. Also, it seems a bit hypocritical when people talk like that. I understand that there are religions who believe in a stern, strict, punishing God, but I mostly hear it from people who belong to a religion believing in a merciful and caring God.

because it corrupts people and tells them how to live their lives, and can be used as a terrible weapon like all religions can.
where do u want to end up after death
who cares? No one knows what happens when you die and if you say you do know you are lost and need help.

wouldn't everyone love to believe that. And because of that promise of "aradise" people can be directed and told to do horrible things and they will think it's justified.
I believe that there is nothing after death. The idea of Heaven was designed to give poor, oppressed peasants something to look forward to. Hell was put in place to keep people from doing horrible things for the fun of it (you might be able to resist r@peing someone if you think you'll burn for eternity).
I like the Greeks' idea of the afterlife. I doesn't matter if you believe in the gods or not, you are sent across the river of Styx where Hades judges you. If you lead a good life and donated to charity, help out other people for no reason, be someone who people love and respect, and who adopt cute puppies go to the Elysium, the good part of underworld. People who weren't BAD, but not GOOD go to the Asphodel Fields. There; you you just do nothing all the time and just hang out. The people who are evil and kick puppies, worship Hitler, are racist, people generally hate you, and if you voted for Bush you got to Tartarus. Think hell. You get tortured for an eternity.
The people who are evil and kick puppies, worship Hitler
Wow, those are two serious opposites there! Kicking a puppy and worshipping Hitler... Lol
Anyway, I am a Christian (Oh no!) and so I believe in heaven, but kind of like Deserteagle's explanation of the Greek afterlife, I don't think you necessarily have to worship God. I think it's way more important to be a good person, which is why God didn't reveal himself (if he exists). He didn't want us to worship him because we KNEW, or people would hate him and obey him.
