I am not sure it would be fair to compare Fable 3, which has a realse date of... to be annouced... to a game that has been out for a year or so.
Perhaps if we did Fable 2 vs Oblivion, I would have to say Oblivion gives you more choice as to what you can do as far as a character goes, but both have just about the same amount of exploration and really both can be fun in many way. In fact I have both games, Fable 2 and the Game of the year edition of Oblivion. Need to get the download for Fable 2 still though...
As far as Fable 3 goes, just took a look at the trailer, not much to go on but if you can become a king, that might be fun to play.

2010 Holiday season.
And I believe that, no matter what other series I might find that is so awesometastic that my head might explode, the Fable series will be held closest to my heart.
The Fable series is a great one, but whether it's Fable 2 or Fable 3 it still doesn't hold a candle to The Elder Scrolls. In Oblivion you can basically do whatever the hell you feel like. While in Fable, it's fun but the whole story feels just forced on you. Despite the fact that you can decide whether you are good or evil, I can barely run through a Fable game for the second time. Oblivion (And all the other Elder Scrolls) FTW
i think oblivion hands down because the the fables are to story based and such and ya u can kinda do what u want but in oblivion u can do really what ever u want and u can get more stuff in oblivion then in fable i mean come on who dose not like upgrading there gear that's just my opinion
