This is kinda like Nurture vs Nature. Do you believe in fate?
I don't because you can choose to stop doing something you enjoy. Fate seems to know what we would find most favorable, the possibility that you will choose something off your own knowledge.
Little Analogy: You burn your hand on the stove. Fate tells you that you might by accident do it again and you most likely won't because you know hot = bad. I can, however, burn my hand as many times as I want to and ignore these signals.

Whats happens if by fate your meant to fail so anything you choose to do different you will still eventually fail your just holding of whats bound to happen.
