Not necessarily. You could do everything on the site besides post on the forum, and still get a lot of points. There are some people who just talk to other people on the site, and from that get a ton of points.

Not the best idea. People kinda look down on you if you do that. But nobody really cares that much.
I've seen people like that, and I get kind of annoyed. I mean, I won't freak out, but it just seems like if you've spent so much time on the site that you're a gold king, you should have discovered and posted in the forums a bit. Makes me think of them as a spammer sometimes.
Look at champion10. He's technically not in the top 10 anymore as of this moment, but look how many posts he has. And nobody looks at him as a noob!
I agree. but the people that have no forum posts i think would be a spammer. because who would be on AG for long enough to get that much AP and not click on the community button?
Well, talking a lot through profile comments isn't exactly spam, it just isn't the best thing to do. If you have a good amount of forum posts it tells others you don't focus only on points, because profile commenting is a lot easier and it gives double the AP.
Of course, some people never find interest in forums.
