In one of the posts I made to a topic, the name of my favorite Singer was... Censored, making it look like Bruce ****inson. I know this is due to the word that is inside of the name, and honestly I don`t mind... but is there a way to make it so that names with that word are not blocked somehow?
Of course, I don`t want to make this seem like a huge thing, its really a small thing. Just wondering is all.
No... there is no way to change this right now. Only thing you can do is put a period (or space, or whatever) in between the "offending" word (which isn't offensive in the context you mention).
There's also a problem with Charles Dickens, Moby Dick, etc...
We let people bypass the censor when they do it because they're trying to say something that is accidentally censored or which should not be censored in the context they are writing it. (Such as rape in discussions about abortion, it was frustrating for a lot of people that they couldn't discuss it without asterisks.)
BUT.
If you bypass the censor by using italics or bold or a symbol or a space to write words that are supposed to be censored and are not excused by the context, then you are risking a ban. The people whose posts I deleted from this thread should think about that a bit.
Aside from Moby (who has a rather unfortunate last name), the names should be possible to fix, though. Just a matter of getting Carlie to do it.
