But, a Mod is short for Moderator, who is basically a guardian of Armorgames who have the ability to lock threads not meeting the guidelines of the site. A merit is a well thought out comment explaining aspects of a game such as gameplay and music. A merit can also be awarded from certain competitions held in the forums. Also, only mods/Admins can give users merits.

When making a thread, almost never ever, do it in caps. Why? I don't know. It generally leads to warnings such as this one...where people are annoe when they assume the creator is 'shouting'.
