I know it's a great game but COME ON. It has to be getting old. Besides the occasional good idea and map pack it's the same old stuff since 2007, and the only innovation ODST is bringing to the table is 3 new maps and a new game type. I dont even count the single player as a campaign, since it only amounts to 3-4 hours. Halo has become extremely boring and overrated, and it should have been eclipsed in sales by a better and newer game long ago. What are you fanboys buying extra copies? But I digress, is Halo overrated now, or not? State your opinions.
P.S. Don't you fanboys be mouthing off to me because i finally said what needed to be said: Halo is a great game, but there are better titles.
ya it is so over rted the online play was ruined when all the no lifed complain bout everything peole joined. but ya gears, cod, and games like that are way better than halo anyways.
No its a damn good game. To say its "boring" can no way be true. How many other games release the amount of content they have to halo 3 (which im xtra mad about cos im refusing to pay for it, and now i cannot play ranked *#@$ing barstewards)...
Its agreat game. But im taking it for trade in to get Modern warfare 2... lol
And im not buying ODST. I think the "franchise" (i hate that word, games are a work of art not a blimmin "franchise" is getting stale.
And ever since they took my sniper perfect pistol in Halo1 away I rekon halo not been the same. :~(
halo is overrated its not as good as its supposed to be.. multi is alright.... i like infection but after a few matches it gets boring. the campagin sucks.its like 2 or 3 hours worth of gaming.....
The Halo 3 campaign just down right sucks. Period. And having to pay for online mode is just plain stoopid. Halo 3 anyways, is just one of the games where you play it, say you have played it, and move on to better games, like Modern Combat 2.
yeah it's getting old but i still play the online alot, i like it better then most shooters and im good at it so it's fun for me. I have gears of war and i hated the multiplayer, got cod4 it was fun for a bit but not enough action.
Halo 3 is a good game, but not that good. I've found better games for less money. Bungie is also pretty corrupted by their own fame. This ODST thing was supposed to be a 20 dollar DLC add-on, but they figure they can make more money for the same stuff by selling it as a 60 dollar stand alone title. All the fans will be buying it anyways, and the only real difference is some new skins, a new mode, and some kind of pistol. Big Whoop. Fallout 3 is where the money's at, but that's just my opinion.
