I don't really open the forum that much so I don't know if there is another topic like this. This topic is about strategy and I mean the overall strategy not just the strategy for a certain level but for common levels. Everyone just list their common strategy and then we'll discuss the best one. I go first so My skills are like this: Focus-maxed DualGemMastery-maxed Turbulence-maxed Resonance-maxed Recharge-maxed Replenish-maxed Forge-maxed Radiance-only lvl 6 am still lvl 55 but going to max it Armor-going to max it after radiance Readiness-the last useful skill so I'll max it.
When I start a battle I just scan the battlefield for the best tower position,then I build there,next I create 2 lvl 3 gems(if I get them both of the same type I restart)the gems need to be of different types,finally i keep working my way up by creating higher lvl gems keeping them all dual i usually have 2 ordinary lvl 8s by the end of a lvl. that's basically it.
Long? Nah, that's a pretty typical size in the "all things gemcraft zero here" thread (it's at the top of the flash games section). Admittedly, it's been largely a discussion of end-game mega-scoring strategies, rather than general strategy.
my strategy: use mana farms (O and R/O traps), supergem some, ubergem (supergemming to crazy damaging levels such as 100k max damage), anger as much as my cpu can handle/my defences can handle.
welcome if you'll read all the topic through, you will probably find several of the best strategies, as well as tips to use some skills you haven't considered at all, I can see. But this will take time.
