You can find the current standings and information about AGBL 2 here. There are different threads to bet in. Do not bet in this thread! This thread is only for standings and rules.
When you signup for AGBL 2, you will receive 10,000 VP (Virtual Points). You can bet your virtual points on events posted and chosen by me. Suggestions are welcome in my profile but you will get no guarantees the event you want will ever be available to bet on.
1. You may only bet: up to 50% of your VP per event on normal events up to 70% of your VP on playoff events (IE: playoffs in the NHL, etc.) up to 90% of your VP on championships (IE: Stanley Cup Finals, Super Bowl) etc.
All events will have odds based on a super scientific formula (that I made up on the spot)
2. You must bet before the posted deadline! The deadlines will be in Pacific Standard Time.
3. A betting thread will be made every second day after the very first betting thread. All threads related to AGBL 2 will be made in the forum games section.
4. Virtual Points are not transferrable to different accounts, bets will only be taken from the account used to enter AGBL 2.
AGBL 2 is currently run by Blu3sBr0s (me), but the idea was Shayneii's as well as the original AGBL so show some R-E-S-P-E-C-T. I will post events to bet on, and tally standings of VP. I will be the only poster of standings, to avoid disputes.
Have no fear, I'm taking Math 12 :P (just like Shayneii was xD)
As anyone who was in the original AGBL can see the standings are reset due to the new betting system and because I say so =P If you were a part of the old AGBL but don't make a bet in the new one within a week, you will be removed from the standings but you can get back in whenever you want
If I am ever unable to manage AGBL 2 (I am on vacation or something) Shayneii will be the first person that gets asked to fill in
The rules + info look very similair to the ones for the original AGBL because there have only been a few changes to the rules for AGBL 2, and this was a lot easier than typing out a whole new one
Shayneii won every game he bet on for Sept 2 and gained almost 3,000 Virtual Points! Elfcheese won a large bet, but it was on Serene Williams to win her US Open match so he only gained about 500 VP. And Krizaz does well with his opening bets But Bronze still leads the pack and has quite a few games for today to try and increase that lead...
Krizaz has lept on to the scene this round of betting jumping to the lead as our resident football expert stumbles losing all but one small bet on Indianapolis
Shayneii and Elfcheese both stand pat.
I do believe should get 1 or 2 more betters these next 2 days
