The DS hands down, I own one and I don't think I'll be owning a PSP. So far there are two games on the PSP that interest me, one of which is a port I could easily play on an emulator; the other is a game I could easily borrow the system and game.
The DS has a ton more interesting games, far more selection when it comes to genre and is leagues better in the quality of their games.
And if you think DS is better just check out the graphics of the PSP
I think the DS is better and I've compared both their graphics. It's shocking, almost like graphics don't make a bit of difference.

How can you compare them when you don't own both, and did you even see the youtube video. The ARM processors in the DS can't handle that type of graphics its been tested.(blame the screens)
I own both the PSP and the DS and top notch games of both and can say the PSP has better graphics.
If you want me to get technical on processors and computing power of both just say it:P
DS vs PSP is like Wii VS PS3... The Nintendo system has some creative games and a lot of fancy little gimmick utilities, but simply can't stand up to the Sony system for power and quality.
PSP is better, but it really comes down to which has games you prefer. To character witness for myself, I only own a DS.
