Are they? I believe that everyone should, but I don't think that everyone is. If you think about it, some people are born with dispositions like mental conditions, physical problems, or medical conditions that could cause problems later in their lives. While this isn't the case for most people, it is these types of things that draw the fine line between equality and inequality.
Sure, animals can be trained to do religious acts, but they don't realize the signifigance of it.

Did I just hear what I just heard?

donpiet you do have a point and thats whats wrong with the world
Sorry donpiet, but I'm going to rip apart what you just said.
well everyone is created equal, the only difference are the talents you get born with. everything else is simply hard work.
eg. you can be born with a slow metabolism and buil muscles slowly, but if you put enough effort in it you can be a good athlete though.
but in my opinion the equality of humans means, that everyone gets the same chances in order to form his life and become a happy person.
of course smart people will get better paid jobs(because of their good education), but dumb people have the same chance of applying. the will just not get the same job.
the problem we have, is that very often it is not the smartest or strongest or most intelligent or whatever person who gets the good jobs, but its the son, daughter, nephew or whatever of someone who already is rich or important.
In no way or form is that equal where lets say two people for examples sake wanted to achieve X amount of strength, wherein one of them had two put in less effort to achieve such strength due to his faster metabolism.
Lets say then you were this girl in recent news, kidnapped at an early age and imprisoned in your captors house for 18 whole years. (My facts on the story may not be accurate but thats far from the point) She definitely had the same equal opportunity to live her life normally as everyone else right? (internet sarcasm) See, even if our society strives for equality, even if you say "but she still deserved the equal right" thats just it. She deserved to have that equal chance, but she didn't. The truth just is we want equality because we don't have it to begin with. And that to many people isn't fair, but the truth is, life just isn't.
No, no one is created equally because we are all different people. Some of us are stronger than others, some are weaker. We all have different traits. But what differentiates actually being equal and what America revolves around is the fact that we treat everyone as equal, because each of us deserves that, no matter our traits. It's not so much what we can do as we we do do. And I know that sounds weird, not philosophically, but the "do do" part. But you'll have to live.
None of us is fully equal, nor will we ever be. Each human is an entirely different story that we could not begin to comprehend. But I think what most fail to grasp is that we all deserve to be given a chance, anyway. Take Beethoven, for example. He became deaf, and yet is regarded as one of the greatest composers in the history of the world.
But here's the thrust. We are not equal, but deserve to be treated so. And also, none of us will have a fair life. Some are luckier than others, some fall hard when they should have had a bright future. And here's what I say; that's life. We'll all have different lives, and we just have to take what we get and live with it.
I am starting to repeat myself, which means I am out of ideas. And that's my cue to leave. See ya!
No. No one is equal. Equality is a false illusion of the mind. Sadly, only the strong are superior.
i think boys are more agressive but girls are more show off,i got both a little bro and little sis at home and its obvious they dont get along well even though they are twins

In theory we are all equals to the law and we have the all the same rights. But this is not true the stronger, smarter, prettier, richer, more popular etc are MORE equal than the other. We are not equal and we will never be. Sadly.
About women I have to agree with Socrates:
Once made equal to man, woman becomes his superior.

well in the beginning men and women were created equally, but now, I really dont think they are.
