Yes she was kidnapped in 1991 and only found in the past few weeks. The weird thing was she had two children and the man who kidnapped her was only charged with kidnapping not rape or anything.I think thats kind of messed up even though he was sentenced life.

For eighteen years she was held hostage, and no one suspected that he was the culprit, even as he raped her? Jeez. That prospect is just frightening. I agree wholeheartedly with the life sentence. It must have been pretty weird for her when she finally got to leave that guys house, and the world was so different. My mom was watching some home videos from about 10 years ago, and some of the places around town have changed a lot. It would be crazy to just go from your world you're used to, to something 20 years older.

yea the police had, but he held her in a prison of tents in a yard near his.. I think she escaped thow, but he had her chained or something... Im sure that if u had this done to u almost everyday for 18 years it might just become daily ritual... a way of life so to say... So she might've just gotten used it... Or shes just so mentally damaged that she lives inside her head... I dunno... scary thought to have happen to u thow
