The Mist f'd with pretty much anyone. The ending was such a downer, but really, shouldn't we expect that from Stephen King?

I agree florglee. I mean, he shoots his family because it would be less painful than getting killed by the Mist, but then realizes the Mist wasn't coming, it was the Army and they were saving them? *sigh* But I think the one movie that really, truly fits in this category,is so sick and twisted and shocking is....
Frailty.
Without a doubt, it is Frailty. I mean, for the whole movie you think the dad is a psychopath murderer, and then you find out he was right all along and the elder brother is a demon??? Really threw me for a loop. And a nine-year old watching as his dad bashed someone's skull in? That...*sigh*

Hmm. Movies don't really do that for me. But the game Vorago and this story this guy wrote about the future did. Animal Farm and Tell Tale Heart did.
