Yeah.
You buy it and put it in the ****ing computer and INSTALL THE ****IN' DRIVERS!
Its not that hard.
If you're too technologically impaired to do it yourself, pay some fat kid $30 bucks to install it for you (plus snacks).
And, listen to him when he says it takes a long process of reprogramming the motherboards information crystals.

it would be so much nicer of you if when you are helping someone you would mind your language and tone a bit. even if the stuff you explain is obvious to you.

@muffinman08: only from reading the graphic card specs you cannot definetly say whether the games runs on your pc or not. post the rest of the specs you have like RAM, Processor and hard drive

Most recommended if you have infinite money

super computer it's worth about 4 Million bucks

just kidding

Well, I think Vista is a failure, it has good looking window, but it takes around 600Mb of your RAM, XP, only 300Mb RAM. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and you can find how your RAM works, what program is executed.

Highly 'too high' recommended spec:

Intel Itanium X6
8Gb RAM DDR3, DDR3 is the speed, 8Gb is the capacity.
Fatherboard, why there is no fatherboard? It's not fair bwahaha.
NVIDIA GF 9999 1024Mb DDR5000 lol

normal Recommendation:

If you plan to become

1. A gamer: Alienware
2. Graphic Designer : Apple G8 lol
3. normal person: Build your own SPEC yay!

SPEC:

Intel Pentium Quad Core Extreme, it's EXTREMEEEEEEEEEEE
8Gb RAM, what???? If you use Vista Ultimate, you need at least 4Gb
remember, buy DDR3 RAM, it Fastttttttttt, buy speed not capacity.

VGA any 512mb and with PCI express of course
6 SATA motherboard, you need 'ALL HIGH',

I mean, you can't use the pentium quad core full capacity if you don't have 8gb, a good motherboard and a good VGA, so it will be useless, if you buy good core, you will need All high spec yay!

Why 6 SATA, you might want to buy more HDD, 1 Tb is not enough lol, buy Raptor.
buy DVDRW if you like to burn, but just buy DVD-CDRW if you don't use burning DVD too much.

Basically:
XP needs 300Mb to 'On'
Vista home and basic need 600Mb RAM
Vista business needs 1Gb
Vista corporate needs 2Gb
Vista ultimate needs 4Gb just to 'On' lollllllllll

Advanced:

If you compare GF and ATI, ATI is cheaper, you can try the performance using sisfoftsandra software, it scores your overall PC performance, If your friend now how to overcloack, it's better, but you have to make sure he really knows what is he doing.

Core 2 duo and Quad core, what the difference? it almost the same, Intel just want to take all the money from the market.

If you want to get a really good PC, buy a motherboard that can use 2 processor at the same time, it's expensive.

Last, it's the most important.......

Use software sisoftsandra to check your PC performance, and test your PC in the store, so you can get best PC with best price. Most stores don't care if you want this kind of thing, but you can find a way how to test your PC before buying. You can threat the owner, hijack the store, rob, lol, yea you can find a way.

www.wired.com
www. lol you can compare prices from the net and real life .com

well i think my whole list of specs is
that was what was under name in the device box
name:intel(r) g33/g31 express chipset family
manufacturer: intel corparation
chip type: intel(R) gma 3100
dac type:internal
approx total memory:286mb
current display mode: 1440 x 900 ( 32 bit) (60hz)
monitor:generic pnp monitor

operating system: windows vista home basic(6.0 , build 6001)
processor:intel pentium dual cpu e2200 2.20ghz (2 cpus) ~2.2ghz
memory: 2036mb ram
bios: phoenix-awardbiosb6.00pg
direct x version:direct x 10
1361mb used 2956mb left
main driver:igdumd32.dll
ddi version: 9ex
i think thats my complete specs , so would my graphics card be the only thing i would need to change to have the specs for new games? ( at least on minimum but preferably higher , so i wouldnt need to change upgrade and update constantly)
and how to i check if the grphics card at the top of the page is compatible with my computer?

windows + R

then type msconfig

it has all info about your PC

and how to i check if the graphics card at the top of the page is compatible with my computer?

1. ask your local vendor
2. some VGA didn't compatible with well 'normal' motherboard, they need fatherboard bwahaha. I mean, it needs higher technology to operate GeForce 9900 XFX technology, and it means longer motherboard, you'll need bigger PC case.

3. there is a notice 'in checkbox mode' lol, in front of the motherboard box, if you buy 'normal' VGA, you don't have to care about this things, but if you buy 'ehm' VGA, you will need to check the compatibility.

well, why you buy your PC? for school, university, job?

basically, if you use it for daily task, 2Gb is more than enough. Don't play Mp3's and multitasking it with Photoshop or Word, your PC works hard if you have 1Gb RAM only. Ctrl+Alt+Del to check your PC tasks 'Task Manager'

If you use vista, after you Ctrl+Alt+Del, press 'task manager' button.

I think Vista is an epic fail, Windows7 is an XP with Vista touch bwahaha.

If you use your PC for Graphic designer like Photoshop or Coreldraw, PERHAPS you need 4Gb and better VGA, 512 ATI is enough no need 1Gb VGA.

For 3D maker, Maya and Video renderer, the higher the better, 4 or 8Gb RAM, why 8Gb? well, you will FEEL the difference when you do these stuff, also, when you copy files, downloading, installing, etc.

The most EXTREME PC motherboard i know is a 24Gb tri-channel DDR3 RAM. It costs around $350 just for the motherboard. It has all EXTREME capabilities bwahaha. Most motherboard we use now is only dual-channel DDR3 RAM.

If you have a server it's called GDDR RAM.

well, directX 9.c is the latest now, but some of the motherboard still can't install directX 10, your PC will 'Scream' if you try to install it, I mean, it still beta lol.

Actually, PC is a very useful tools we have, we can use it for almost everything, except for cooking, yes, PC can't cook haha!

You can use PC for study, play games, chat, rumble in the AG forum, become a troll or goblin, make friend, stolen money online Ooopss.

Don't use torrent, but if you have to, never buy, it always free, internet is for free, information is free, Windows is a past, Linux and FREE MASON community is the future, why not free?

current display mode: 1440 x 900 ( 32 bit) (60hz)

Muffin, 'lol it's a cute name', listen, don't push your display mode to the max, you need higher refresh rate. Why? because your eyes will get tired quickly if you set it to 60hz

right click on the desktop - properties - Settings 'Advance' - monitor.

Than change it to 75hz.

Well, you are gifted, I tell u, not everyone can buy that kind of monitor, change it now, it's for your future bwahahaha.
