tbh i think they really shoulda taken more time , it doesnt add much new it just seems like and over-glorified expansion, sorta like old strategy game expansions were like.add a few new enemies and a few more maps and wepons.essentially its £40 or $50 dlc

Left For Dead 2 should have been an expansion. Melee weapons? Woopty freaking Doo.

...Though I'm starting to grow a grudge against Valve, I'll be putting that aside this time. Probably going to buy it in spite of myself.

Gamertag? As in Xbox? Why in the world would you even CONSIDER getting it for the Xbox after what happened to the original? Sure its not Valve's fault that they couldn't update it but if you have any sense (and a computer that can run it) you shouldn't even consider the option unless they announce a change. You'd be gimping your game.

Only a couple months ago, the first game came out, and made a crapload of money. Valve figured they could make alot more craploads by making a sequel, and obviously did a rush job for the extra cash to be in their pockets quicker. What's new in L4D2? New characters, a couple new guns, melee weapons, and like three or four new zombies. Not enough to get me interested. But, like Ben said, Dead Rising is gonna blow your mind. 7,000 zombies on screen at any given time? Now that's real innovation.

if they had cut the price a bit and sold it as an expansion i would probably get it since i loved left 4 dead

7,000 zombies doesnt mean the games gona be great if the combat mechanic was as boring as it was in dead rising one (on dead rising one i found that only fighting with physycopaths fun, the regular zombie killing quickly got boring and bland no matter what weapon you were using)

A lot of people were dissapointed with the announcement of L4D2. Valve originally promised a LOT more DLC before they releasded the second game. But sadly, only about a year and a half later, they announced L4D2.
